Please note that this job is for the New Mexico Metropolitan Detention Center Albuquerque at 100 Deputy Dean Miera Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM 87151, this traveler will start working at the UNM main campus for the 1st 2 weeks of the assignment before moving over to work at the Detention Center for the remainder of the assignment. MOAB certification is required, if the traveler does not already have the MOAB certification, they will receive the 4 hour de escalation course during their first week. If they do not pass; their contract may be up for cancellation. LCSW required *No locals within 75 mile radius 13-26 week contracts available Must be able to pass facility background check. *COVID vaccination required - religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of COVID exemption form, signed by a provider for medical Start date: ASAP First-timers accepted: (Y/N) Yes; Corrections experience preferred Certs REQ: BLS, MOAB, LCSW, LCP (facility will provide MOAB course) Is on-call REQ? Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week, facility is allowed to call off 3x throughout a 13-week assignment Special Requirements: Assignment to certain patients within a unit; Performs individual and group therapeutic interventions. Conducts psychosocial assessments, mental health intake evaluations, risk assessments and interventions. Provides BH consultation, crisis intervention, care coordination efforts for patients returning to the community.
