Job description

Position Summary:

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Student Assistant for the department of Neuroscience & Cell Biology at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

A newly established neuroscience lab at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is seeking a motivated undergraduate research assistant. The lab is interested in the molecular mechanisms of the body's biological clocks and how clock dysfunction is involved in pathogenesis of psychiatric disorders including autism and depression. The lab has an excellent track record of training undergraduate students. Former undergraduate trainees were highly successful in getting co-authorships in publications, fellowships, travel awards or admission into medical or graduate schools. Part-time position (10 – 20 hours/week during active AY); up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks and summer.
