Job description
Chemical Blender
Previous experience in blending chemicals is required. You will need to adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards while being exposed to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals.
Basic Function:
Your main responsibility will be to prepare, blend and mix batches of material by operating blending equipment. You will need to complete batch paperwork according to Standard Operating Procedures and apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Responsibilities:
You will need to accurately complete documentation regarding the blending process. This involves measuring and weighing materials, both manually and using computerized scales. You will also need to operate production equipment as required. Cross-training to perform tasks, operate equipment and maintain the necessary documentation in other production departments may be required.
Knowledge Requirements:
To qualify for this job, you need a High School diploma or equivalent.
You will need to read written documents and execute written instructions accurately. Exposure to industrial chemicals and detergents is expected.
