JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Rental Project Assistant is responsible for identifying and managing project bid opportunities on behalf of the Capital Pump & Equipment outside sales team, as well as the accurate entry of all subscription-sourced opportunities into the CRM. This position is the ideal place to learn every facet of our business, from the technical aspects of pump system design to best practices in estimating and subcontracting.

Position Responsibilities:

• Qualifies project specific needs through bid document and information service(s); extracts vital documents from plans and specifications for upload into the CRM for organization and tracking purposes
• Proactively track project progress, assisting in budget & bid package preparation along with attending internal project take-off meetings
• Efficiently coordinate efforts with the project team and outside sales team
• Hands on experience with industry specific software such as Construct Connect, Hubspot and Industrial Info preferred
• Able to thrive in a high volume, deadline driven work environment
• Supports branding and marketing efforts by performing initial prospecting calls to bidding contractors and fixed facilities, forwarding sales leads and incoming inquiries to the outside sales team
• Reviews daily opportunity management reports and provides regular feedback to Branch Managers and VP of Sales regarding outside sales team progress
• Participates in After Hours and Emergency Response efforts
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures
• Ensures all activity and customer transactions are performed within CPE safety policies
• Performs other duties as assigned by the VP of Sales

• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
• Other duties as assigned

Experience & Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in rental/pump industry preferred but not necessary
• Experience with MS Office suite helpful
