Position Overview:
Western Engineering is looking for a Class A CDL lowboy driver. You must be dependable and willing to work flexible hours as schedule demands with night work and weekends possible for some jobs. This position includes traveling throughout the states of Nebraska and Iowa dependent on job locations. You will be responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle as well as completing thorough pre/post trip inspections.
Applicants need to be a motivated, dependable team player that can work with others.
Requirements
-Successfully pass DOT Pre-employment drug screening test
-Class A CDL with air brake endorsement.
-Hazmat and tank endorsements a big plus!
-Responsibilities include, but not limited to, being able to operate equipment to load and secure properly several types of heavy equipment such as, Rollers, Pavers, Brooms, Blades, Skid loaders, Wheel loaders, and Portable mills. Many loads are oversize requiring proper flagging and when necessary ordering the proper permits.
-Possibilities of working day, night and weekend shifts as required by task/job needs.
