Title: Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant

AHNMG Overview: Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group is comprised of over 250 physicians and advanced practice providers spanning 40+ medical specialties including General Surgery and Surgical Subspecialties, Hospital Medicine, Pediatric Primary Care and Subspecialties, Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Women's Obstetrics & Gynecology along with Subspecialties. Job Summary: Functions independently, including coordination and facilitation of administrative and clinical activities in collaboration with a supervising physician to provide the following essential functions listed below.

Education, Licensure and Certifications:

Eligible for prescriptive authority through the Georgia Board of Nursing and/or Georgia Composite Medical Board. If applicable in setting, must have or be eligible to obtain a DEA license.

Nurse Practitioner - Master's Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required. Georgia license to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse through the Georgia Board of Nursing required. Certification in the area of practice and appropriate for the population served from a nationally recognized certifying body required.

Physician Assistant - Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required; Master's Degree preferred. Georgia license to practice as a Physician Assistant through the Georgia Composite Medical Board required. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistance required.
