DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, the incumbent will work as the Front Desk Supervisor responsible for the supervision and direction of the day to day front desk administrative activities of the Department. Review, prioritize and manage all requests and communications. Provide training to the front desk staff. Supervise the day to day smooth operation of administrative functions including long and short range administrative needs. Provides support for planning and offer recommendations/resolution to problems. Monitor staff productivity and balance staff assignments for effective service delivery.

Assess educational and training needs of staff and facilitate staff development. Create and maintain admin staff schedule, lead weekly Admin team meetings and serve as liaison and primary contact for department Epic users. Oversees weekly deposits. Provide comprehensive customer service and manage all patient related affairs, acting as patient liaison by fielding questions, registering and scheduling appointments using EPIC systems and obtain insurance authorization. Procure various supplies, office furniture and other Department needs using Health Systems purchasing tools such as Aperek, Procurement Card and PO's. Manage and oversee all Facility Engineering requests. Serve as point of contact for cleaning needs. Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Annual Full Pay Range: $67,200 - $119,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $32.18 - $57.28
