The Simulation Training Center (STC) serves the undergraduate, graduate, and continuing professional development programs through the use of simulation technologies such as high fidelity, total body simulators, partial task trainers and diagnostic monitoring equipment. In addition, training takes place in a fully equipped simulated hospital setting; i.e., an in-patient room, operating suite, ICU, and emergency room, as well as a fully equipped outpatient clinical setting in the adjacent Professional Development Center (PDC). The STC has continued to expand as the use of simulation technologies has dramatically grown and taken on an even more important role in both the undergraduate curriculum and the residency programs.
