JOB TITLE:
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Specialty Equipment Tech responsible for handling, inspecting, and testing a specific range of product line tools. This role involves meticulous cleaning, calibration, restocking of specialized tools, and updating project schedules. Ideal for newcomers in the field, this position provides on-the-job training and involves ensuring the timely completion of project requests.

SHIFT:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (approximately)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect incoming and outgoing equipment, tools, and tooling to ensure functionality.
- Maintain warehouse safety standards and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Read and interpret drawings, procedures, and manuals.
- Repair, maintain, and adjust various tooling.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and select the appropriate tools for jobs.
- Assemble specialized tooling kits and sub-kits promptly.
- Ensure quality assurance and manage inventory for restocking kits and sub-kits.
- Conduct quality control on delivery of kits and sub-kits, checking for completeness and functionality.
- Account for all items in returned kit and sub-kit inventory.
- Perform visual and functional inspections to confirm working condition of kits and sub-kits.
- Clean, reorganize, and test returned kits and sub-kits.
- Record inspections, restocking, and assignments of kits in tooling systems.
- Track serial numbers of precision/specialty tools for asset and certification tracking.
- Coordinate with vendors for production maintenance or calibration.
- Monitor certification dates and manage shipments of specialty tools.
- Troubleshoot operational errors and resolve issues.
- Conduct tests and evaluations on products or processes for quality of repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities.
- Adhere to standard maintenance protocols.
- Complete annual safety training.
- Be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Be open to travel for field assignments.
- Take on additional responsibilities to support the organization's goals and values.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in inspection or quality control.
- Basic knowledge of assigned product line tooling or disciplines (e.g., gas productivity, technology, electrical, precision, and hydraulic tooling kits).
- Moderate computer proficiency.
- English fluency required.
