Job description
One of our manufactruing clients in London, ON is looking for a Millwright for their facility.
Shift - Days, Afternoons and Midnights
Responsibilties:
Review diagrams and schematic drawings to ascertain the appropriate work procedures.
Utilize hand and power tools to install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment based on layout plans.
Employ hoisting and lifting devices to accurately position machinery and components during installation, setup, and machinery repairs.
Conduct inspections on machinery and equipment to identify irregularities and malfunctions, subsequently investigating and addressing any issues.
Make adjustments to machinery and replace defective parts as necessary.
Utilize machine tools like lathes and grinders to produce required parts during machinery overhaul, maintenance, or setup.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating machinery.
Use hand and power tools, as well as welding equipment, to assemble machinery and equipment before installation.
Fulfill additional duties as directed by your Manager/Supervisor.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess a certification in the Industrial Millwright Mechanic trade.
Completion of college or industry courses in industrial machinery repair or millwrighting.
An inter-provincial trade certification is considered a valuable asset.
Accumulate 1-2 years of work experience in the trade within an industrial setting.
