Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise, the ability to manage multiple audit engagements, and a commitment to delivering high-quality services to our clients. As an Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and reporting on audit engagements for both commercial and not-for-profit clients. You will also be responsible for providing expert guidance to clients, managing staff, and staying up-to-date on the latest accounting and auditing standards.

Responsibilities:

Manage multiple audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting, for commercial and not-for-profit clients
Provide expert guidance and advice to clients to help them achieve their goals and fulfill their missions
Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and other client deliverables for accuracy and compliance
Effectively manage and coach staff, ensuring all work is completed accurately and timely
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities
Stay abreast of the latest accounting and auditing standards and trends across all sectors
Uphold and promote the firm's philosophy, policies, and procedures, contributing to the efficient operation of the firm
Make informed decisions in the course of work, considering general economic and political trends, proposed pronouncements, and relevant legislation

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA certification preferred
years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit services
Solid technical skills with the ability to formulate recommendations and implement solutions
Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
Excellent leadership and staff management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to make informed decisions and stay current on economic, political, and legislative trends
