JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant
REPORTS TO: Senior Director, Youth and Family Programs
FSLA STATUS: Full-Time / Non-Exempt (35 Hour Work Week)
Family Service Society of Yonkers (FSSY) is a community-based nonprofit organization that has served residents of Westchester and surrounding areas for over 140 years. We provide comprehensive services and programs for individuals and families of diverse backgrounds and ages.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining files in an organized and confidential manner while adhering to compliance standards
- Provides administrative support; including copying, mailing, faxing, filing and creating packets
- Assist in program audits; gather data, reports and files as needed
- Data entry; maintains database by entering new and updated information
- Serve as back up to Receptionist (as needed)
- Other duties as assigned by Senior Management

Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree Preferred; HS Degree Required
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Spanish-speaking preferred but not required
- 1 year of Office Assistant/Admin. Assistant experience required
- Knowledge with MS Office; Outlook, Word, Excel
