Receiving Clerk

Pay: Depends on experience

Hours: MondayFriday 6AM2:30PM

Job Description:

The Receiving clerk collaborates with procurement staff to list expected deliveries. Receives shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt. Verify packages according to the purchase order (quantity quality and drawing specification if necessary). Makes sure material is identified with heat # for transability. If documentation is necessary per po scan to file Contact purchasing if there is a discrepancy identified. Assures no damaged items are sent or received. Labels deliveries and allocates them to their designated place. Maintains accurate records and assists in inventory control. Create nonconformances reports track and monitor with procurement team. Helps manage and maintain the layout of the warehouse and warehouse inventory to enable the most undisturbed production possible. Make sure all inventory is identified properly with location and part number.

Requirements:

Must have experience with raw materials (fittings plate structural)

Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position.

Experience in operating forklifts. Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data.

Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.

Basic math and recording abilities. Excellent organizational skills.

Great communication and interpersonal abilities.

Attention to detail. High school diploma.
