Job description
We are looking for a full-time LPN who embraces patient care and satisfaction in a busy medical practice. A kind and smart LPN who can handle a high volume of patients is what we are looking for!
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Scribe with the doctor
· Record patient vital signs
· Review patient medication history
· Review patient medical history
· Utilize and understand EMR systems (We use eClinicalWorks)
· Patient referrals & pre-authorizations
· Monitor and review all incoming lab results and imaging results
· Review and complete new Rx and Rx refills
· Review and complete home health orders
· Answer telephone calls
· Understand patient’s insurance coverage
· Protect patient rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal information
· Maintain operations by following policies and procedures
· Be a great team member of a small strong team
This position is a full-time position Monday-Friday.
Requirements include: LPN License: Professional bedside manner, multi-tasking, professional telephone skills, time management, organization and attention to detail.
This position requires true teamwork. Communication and helping our team members are required to be a part of this wonderful team!
Must have more than one year experience in the medical field.
Must have experience with an EMR/EHR system.
Must have schedule flexibility during the week.
