Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The University of Arkansas is
seeking a Human Resources Partner, who will play a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with the overall objectives of the
university. This position focuses on developing and implementing HR initiatives to support the assigned Unit/s' and/or College's mission,
vision, and goals, as well as supporting the University of Arkansas' strategic pillars of Research Excellence, Student Success and Employer
of Choice. The HR Partner collaborates with university leaders, faculty, and staff to enhance organizational effectiveness, employee
engagement, and talent management.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for people and a sincere desire to
foster a diverse and inclusive work environment with a focus on belonging. They will have exceptional interpersonal and communication
skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with on campus faculty and staff and other stakeholders, as well as a demonstrated
ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. This candidate must have a proven ability to handle
multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. They must have the ability to
handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities will include:
1. Strategic HR
Planning:
* Collaborate with university leadership to understand and align HR strategies with the overall goals and objectives of the
institution.
* Develop and implement HR plans to support academic and administrative departments within the university.
2. Workforce
Planning and Talent Management
* Partner with hiring managers and strategic talent acquisition to identify staffing needs and develop
effective recruitment strategies.
* Oversee the hiring and onboarding processes for assigned unit/s.
3. Performance Management:
*
Implement best practices for performance management processes to ensure fair and consistent evaluations and work with managers to set
performance goals.
4. Policy and Compliance
* Promote and support University policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of
ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; and ensuring compliance with them.
5. HR
Data and Reporting:
* Utilize HR analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
* Prepare and present reports
on key HR metrics

collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications: Minimum
Qualifications: - The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in human resources, public administration, or a related
field from an accredited institution of higher education or equivalent experience in human resources or related field
Applicable
equivalencies may be considered on the qualifications listed above.
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Human Resources at a
strategic level, not transactional back office
- Proven experience in managing and implementing HR initiatives including talent
acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, retention
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability
to use HR metrics and data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
- Proficiency in HRIS and
Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications: - Five plus years of HR experience
- Heavy use of HR data
and creating dashboards for leaders
- Leading large scale workforce planning initiatives
- Experience leading teams or large
programs
- Experience working in a matrixed structure
- Executive certification or advanced degree in Human Resources or a
related field
- SHRM or HRCI Certification or other relevant industry certification
- HR experience in higher education or a
public agency
- Experience using Workday

Additional Information: Salary
Information: $55,000 - $60,000 (commensurate with education and experience)
