We are looking for experienced voice, data & fiber optic cable installation techs for our New Office located in Marietta, Georgia our facilities in Florida (Tampa and Orlando) and our facility in North Carolina (this location requires 75% travel). Applicants must match the summary & job requirements. Must have 1 year of experience. Local candidates preferred. These positions can be traveling positions. Travel is typically out on Monday and back on Friday.

Voice & Data Cable Installation Techs will install, cable pathway systems, firestop systems, and various cable that includes but is not limited to twisted pair cable, fiber optic, coax, as well as other low voltage cable. Cable installation includes, placement, termination, testing, labeling and documentation. Paging experience a plus

CANDIDATE MUST

Must have a clean valid driver’s license.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical.

Must have a clean criminal background with no felonies

Must live in the same state office is located. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

· Install, terminate, test, label and document category 5e & 6 structured cabling system.

· Fiber Optic termination and testing experience a plus. Fusion and mechanical splicing and terminations.

· Install, terminate, test, label and document all types of fiber optic horizontal, & backbone cables.

· Install paging and white noise systems.

· Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks or D-rings).

· Dress and route cable into telecommunications closets, modular furniture and other work area outlets.

· Build out telecommunication and equipment rooms.

· Firestop various types of cable penetrations.

· Test, troubleshoot, and document test results for cabling.

· Perform other duties as required.
