Job description

Description:

• Review finished products for quality defects
• Perform all DON testing (mycotoxin testing)
• Appearance checks on products
• Sample preparation (grinding) to be prepped for additional testing such as ash, protein, moisture.
• Weekly scale calibration
• Environmental Monitoring Swabbing (EMP)
• Run ELISA testing methodology
• Documentation of results & lab notes in excel
• Working on additional small projects that are assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in the life sciences - would have a preference in Food Science or culinary science or general life science field.

A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but would be open to looking at someone with an Associate's degree as well. Required to have a HS Diploma + prior industry experience preferably in quality or food science.
