Job description
Responsible for general office duties related to the Yonkers Citadel Corps
- Perform all typing duties (including, but not limited to correspondence, forms, documents, schedules, bulletins, etc.)
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and take messages as needed.
- Maintain all department files according to office procedures.
- Maintain an adequate Bring up file.
- Respond to all donations with a thank you card (monetary and in-kind)
- Prepare statistical information as requested.
- Schedule social service interviews as required.
- Assist with case management when necessary.
- Perform other related duties within the scope of the position.
- Two (2) years work experience.
- Familiarity with general office machines: copier, fax, and dictation
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office ability to handle personal and confidential material.
- Ability to organize work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to answer telephone in a pleasant and professional manner, taking and directing messages accurately.
- Spanish/ English speaker preferred.
