The Ithaca College School of Health Science and Human Performance invites applications for a full-time, tenure-eligible faculty position in the Department of Physical Therapy at the rank of assistant or associate professor to begin August 16, 2024. We seek applicants with clinical expertise in musculoskeletal/orthopedics and one or more of the following: clinical administration, evidence-based practice, and pathology. Responsibilities include teaching, mentoring in the on-campus clinic, advising, scholarship, and service.
If hired, the candidate will join a dynamic department with state-of-the-art facilities, including a movement analysis lab, cadaver anatomy lab, patient simulation lab, and on-campus clinic. Our renowned physical therapy faculty are experts in the field, with many holding board-certified clinical specialties and serving at the state, regional, and national levels. They are committed to contributing to the future of the profession through their scholarly activities, including journal publications, textbook chapters, and presentations at national and international conferences.

Position/Job Qualifications: Candidates must have an academic doctorate (PhD, EdD, DSc), ABD considered, minimum 3 years of clinical experience, ABPTS specialty certification is preferred, and academic or residency/fellowship teaching experience. Candidates must also hold an active, unrestricted physical therapy license in any United States jurisdiction and be eligible for physical therapy licensure in New York State.

Hiring Range: $60,100 - $88,473, dependent on discipline, qualifications and experience.
