Junior Design Engineer

General Overview & Reporting:

The Junior Design Engineer is responsible for creating and managing Engineering documentation, learning the intricacies of the product offerings. The role will be turning ideas from functional prototypes and products into documents that support the shop, our Sales team, and our customers. Responsibilities also include supporting the Design Engineers with drawings and models using SolidWorks. In addition, the Design Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining supporting documentation such as specifications, instructions, and other engineering documents. The Design Engineer will support fabrication and assembly departments with manufacturing-related issues and improvements as they arise. This position is exempt and reports to the Director of OPEX and Engineering.
