Sr. Facilities Technician (The Mutual Group) - On-site Opportunity

Job description
The Mutual Group (TMG) is a comprehensive, integrated insurance operations platform dedicated to helping mutual insurance companies. As the Sr. Facilities Technician, you will provide a variety of facility and grounds support services consistent with customer expectations and department operating procedures.
Responsibilities:
Provides operational support of:
- Facility HVAC systems conducting maintenance when appropriate and coordinating necessary repairs with selected vendors when such expertise is required.
- Assists with exterior grounds work as needed.
- Maintains boiler heating systems and chiller A/C systems.
- Maintains kitchen equipment.
- Supports the facility design staff with employee moves, furniture reconfigures, wiring changes, ergonomic changes and workstation setups.
Provides administrative support for:
- Facility access control/security systems and programs and security cameras.
- Conducts required checks/modifications of facility for safety related issues.
- Cares for and provides repairs to facility exteriors and interiors.
Assists and supports:
- Employee relocations, furniture installations and repairs.
- Meeting rooms and related equipment set-up as requested by customers.
- FM systems requests.
- Telecommunications/computer wire management for building wiring projects.
- Maintains facility interior and exterior related repairs such as painting and general upkeep.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of facilities/grounds operations experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Recommended Qualifications:
- Knowledge of common and complex concepts, practices and procedures within the facilities field.
- Exceptional dedication to delivery of high service and quality to internal and external business partners.
- Strong work ethic that shows enthusiasm, energy and commitment and is consistent with the defined values of the organization.
- Basic knowledge of computers.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic mechanical diagnostic skills in the area of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
- Detail-oriented.
- Reliable.
- Basic knowledge of every day tools/power tools.
*The successful candidate will initially be hired as an employee of GuideOne Insurance Company and automatically become an employee of TMG on the company's official transition date.
