As a Water Treatment Operator II, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining water wells, chemical feeder equipment, pumps, motors, and more. Accountabilities
Continuously improve operations by streamlining processes, reducing turnaround times, and collaborating for resource efficiency
Deliver outstanding customer service by establishing and maintaining open communication with internal and external stakeholders
Adhere to industry and Utility safety standards, ensuring that all services comply with regulatory requirements
Conduct daily inspections of wastewater treatment facilities, aquifer recharge facilities, and related equipment
Record readings, make adjustments, and maintain accurate records
Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required
ADEQ Grade I Operator License in specific areas required for Arizona locations (specific area of concentration; i.e, Wastewater Treatment, Water Distribution, Collections, or Water Treatment)
Specialized knowledge of wells, pumps, motors, and plumbing principles. Ability to read maps, manuals, work orders, and blueprints
Maintain a valid state driver’s license
Analytical judgment and decision-making abilities in handling complex variables
Ability to work closely with colleagues and follow instructions for regular maintenance tasks
