Job description
Sourcing intern candidates for Architecture Studio in Charlotte, NC with knowledge of design principles and the ability to communicate them as they apply to projects. Intermediate knowledge of all phases of design process - Programming/Space Planning, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, and FFE. Intermediate knowledge of materials - appropriate applications and performance. Assisting in library maintenance to build knowledge. Intermediate ability to develop design concepts.
Duties
Assist in drawings and specifications. Intermediate ability to create graphics for presentations and proposals. Assist in visualization exercises.
Effective communication skills - written and verbal. Ability to understand direction and deliver assignments on time. Intermediate level of organization and time management skills.
Accompany project lead to client meetings and presentations.
