About the company:

We create and provide educational experiences through traditional in-person learning, innovative virtual reality schools, and our exclusive VR-based student field trips and programs. All implement our rigorous, time-tested liberal arts and sciences curriculum, giving families the high-quality options and choices that best suit their lifestyle and student's needs. We also serve the education community at large, with branches specializing in education management services, curriculum development, teacher certification, and professional learning. Our goal is to develop innovative and effective tools and resources to better serve and advance the field of education and to make classical education available to every family.

This is a salaried, exempt position with a 10-month work schedule (12-month pay schedule) and base standard hours of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm daily. Salary will be set annually on a performance-based schedule. Teachers will report to the Head of School.

 

Major Function 

Responsible for the educational leadership of scholars placed in exceptional student education programs, including gifted scholars and scholars with disabilities. The Learning Coach is expected to understand and demonstrate the use of the academy’s curriculum, student instruction and assessment to maximize educational achievement for all scholars; work collaboratively to ensure a working and learning climate for all scholars that is safe, secure and respectful. Implementing strategies to reach the multiple intelligences of scholars through creative lessons is required.
