Mathematics Teacher.
This position requires a dynamic individual to teach Mathematics at the high school level. The ideal candidate will be well-versed, ready to implement the Common Core State Standards, and able to teach a wide range of coursework, including integrated math. Our Math curriculum is an integral component of Rutland High School's STEM concentration. The ideal candidate will be certified to teach in Vermont and will have a strong background in content as well as proven engagement strategies, such as Project Based Learning. Desired is a background in Proficiency-Based Learning and instructional strategies that support brain-based learning concepts. Very importantly, we seek an individual who can enter a collaborative partnership with colleagues and is willing to participate actively in a professional learning community to support the education of all students.
