job summary:
Our client - a leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing thermoplastic corrugated pipes and related water management products for non-residential, residential, agriculture, and infrastructure applications - is seeking a contract Project Engineer I to join their dynamic engineering team.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology, and 2-5 years of relevant experience.
The Project Engineer I will engage in a wide range of support functions to increase sales, enhance market positioning, and ensure the proper applications of company products by working closely with the sales team, designer/drafters, and client contacts.
Role can be 100% remote, but will require some travel to company HQs in Ohio, and to customer and construction site locations.

responsibilities:
- Provide technical support directly to the Engineered Product Manager (EPM) and other outside sales personnel located throughout the world
- Preparation of drawing packages for brand's chambers and pipe systems
- Direct communication with Sales team and external customers
- Basic understanding of company products needed to support the Sales team
- Assist with the review of storm and sanitary sewer conveyance projects and its recommendation regarding company products
- Support other project engineers on ongoing internal projects (e.g. Development of new spreadsheets and other technical sales tools)
- Review of Engineering Technician drawing packages
- Provide assistance to peers working on drawing packages
