Job Description
Overall, 15+ years of excellent hands-on working experience as SAS solution architect/subject matter expert.
- Should have working experience in SAS suite of products (e.g., Base SAS, SAS/Macros, SAL/ETL, SAS/EBI, SAS Grid, SAS visual analytics). Should have worked on SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya.
- Strong experience working in SAS under multiple platforms & operating systems such as Mainframe, Unix, and Windows.
- Experience on SAS platform migrations (from lower version to higher versions, SAS 9.4 workloads migration to SAS Viya), from SAS to other data integration/ETL platforms is preferred.
- Work experience in SAS grid computing, Grid manager, distributed enterprise scheduling, workload balancing, and workloads parallelization.
- Identify, collect, and analyze SAS Inventory, operational statistics of SAS artifacts usage in the production environments, prioritization, rationalization, migration for any SAS Migrations.
- Front-end client conversations, conduct inventory assessment workshops, and lead end-to-end SAS migration consulting engagement. Responsible for delivering the engagement with the required artifacts and obtain customer signoffs.
- Recommend future state and define migration roadmap & high-level plan.
- Knowledge and experience in different BI tech stack (Tableau, Qlik).
- Experience in migrating SAS workload to pyspark/databricks.
- Should have acumen to engage with senior client stakeholders.
- Must be able to coordinate and collaborate across departments and gather information to build recommendations and plans.
