About the role: The Quality Auditor Final Inspector uses processes and techniques designed to evaluate the composition, structure, and properties of our fasteners. The final inspections performed by our Auditors ensure the integrity, safety and reliability of our fasteners plus meet all customer requirements and standards. Quality auditors look to minimize cost and maximize efficiency to sustain customer loyalty and maintain the company's overall reputation.

Responsibilities:

Take samples of parts from all containers for lab auditors according to SOP142, some of which require a step ladder to access

Rake parts per work instruction

Audit parts to verify and meet customer requirements

Conduct Dimensional, Metallurgical and Performance related testing as part of the final process

Measure equipment using calipers, micrometers, digital/dial indicators, optical comparator, and other commonly used gages in the Fastener manufacturing process

Perform other duties as required

Ability to use and climb a ladder (only a few feet to reach samples from tubs stacked on top of each other)

Mechanically inclined

Able to use hand tools such as wrenches, screw drivers, etc.

Possess basic computer skills

Able to commit to perfect attendance during the training schedule

Able to read job instructions

Able to complete required paperwork

Able to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, lift, and sit as needed throughout the day

Able to communicate clearly and effectively

Able to pass a pre-employment, post-offer physical, drug screen

Able to pass a background check
