Job description

Role Overview:
As a Senior Research Scientist at Aledade, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the accuracy of revenue estimation and forecasting. Leveraging rich data sources, including national Medicare claims and CMS public use data, you will lead cross-functional efforts to provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve revenue estimation processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

Identify Analysis Priorities:
Collaborate with teams across Aledade to identify and clarify strategic and tactical questions for data analysis and experiments.
Design and Execute Analysis Projects:
Lead statistical analyses for large-scale projects, designing and programming code to integrate and evaluate diverse data sources.
Mentor junior colleagues in programming and model implementation.
Translate and Communicate Analysis Results:
Formulate strategic recommendations based on evidence and lead efforts to translate complex analyses into actionable insights for leaders across Aledade.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience; advanced degree may substitute for some experience.
Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and statistical programming in R, Python, or Stata.
Experience with healthcare data sources and complex enterprise data warehouses.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in business, finance, public health, or related field with an emphasis on data analysis.
Strong quantitative analysis abilities and expertise in econometrics, health services research, or related fields.
Advanced data manipulation skills, including SQL fluency.
Knowledge of healthcare utilization measurement methods and value-based care principles.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
