Job description

Are you a compassionate and dedicated physician looking to make a difference in the lives of the elderly? Suncoast PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is seeking a skilled physician to join our team and provide exceptional care to our participants.

At Suncoast PACE, we understand that care goes beyond just physical health. We believe in a holistic approach that encompasses emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. As a physician with us, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our elderly participants by addressing their unique needs and providing comprehensive care.

As part of our team, you will have the support of an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for our participants. You will work closely with APRNs, nurses, social workers, therapists, and other specialists to develop personalized care plans that meet the individual needs of each participant and will provide and coordinate all the healthcare and support services individuals need to remain living as independently as possible at home..

In addition to providing in-home care and support, you will have the opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art facility, equipped with the latest medical technology. This will allow you to deliver high-quality care in a comfortable and convenient setting.

We are looking for a physician who is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also compassionate and empathetic. Our participants deserve the best care possible, and we are committed to finding a physician who shares our values and dedication to excellence.

Requirements:

• Education: Medical Doctor with emphasis in geriatrics. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Geriatric practice desired. Current state license and DEA registration required. Meets requirements of 42 CFR Part 410.20.
• Experience: A minimum of one year experience working with a frail or elderly population required.
• Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Practice or Geriatrics.
• Florida state license and DEA registration.
• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
• Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation
