Job Description:

The Business Affairs IT Department is looking for a candidate with project management experience managing infrastructure projects in areas such as VoIP/telephony, networking (wired and wireless network and firewall), Audio Visual, mobile networking, cabling, and etc.

• Perform the full range of the project management cycle: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing. Independently lead and direct projects requiring high levels of functional integration and involving multiple disciplines to be managed.
• Direct development of an action plan, and estimate requirements for resources, including management, labor, materials, and time required to complete projects.
• Facilitate discussions and negotiations to drive recommendation and consensus.

Requirements:

• 5 years of related experience in the management of projects with extensive size/complexity and moderate performance risk, including project planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• Excellent communicator, detail oriented, has the ability to connect the dots, provide good meeting notes and has the ability to lead and guide the team.
• Strong business acumen and knows when to escalate and remediate project risks, and able to comfortably communicate with the project sponsors.
• Experience and/or understanding of Telecom service delivery (e.g. Telephony, VoIP, PBX, Call Manager, Voice Mail, Mobile Network) and Telecom vendors such as Cisco, and Nortel.
