Well look no further! RUME Property Management is searching for an Assistant Property Manager for our property in St. Charles IL. Successful Assistant Property Managers have experience in property management and leasing but are eager to learn more! This position reports directly to the Property Manager for assigned tasks and must communicate daily on status of projects. In the absence of the Property Manager, the Assistant Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day community functions. Ideal candidates have excellent customer service and sales skills and are adept at interacting with coworkers.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist the Property Manager with administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to the collection of rent, handling of resident issues, and property accounting tasks.
- Assist with the management of marketing, leasing, and application process.
- Work with the Property Manager to optimize resident relations and resident retention activities of the community.
- Promote a positive environment.
- In the absence of the Property Manager, must be able to oversee daily operations of the property.
- Must conduct self in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Education or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience in property management and customer service
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of basic programs (property management software and Office products)
- Well organized with excellent time management skills
- Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
- Customer focus and bottom line orientation
Benefits
- Base salary ranges from $43,000-48,000 plus 20% yearly bonus potential. Total compensation (base salary plus bonuses) for this position ranges $54,000 to $60,000/year
