About the Role
The Assistant General Manager Club Operations is responsible for overseeing the nightclub and dayclub outlets efficiently within pre-established cost controls.
Position Responsibilities
- Ensure all Club operations are run smoothly and safely.
- Create shift schedules.
- Understanding of federal, state and local laws regarding liquor, labor & health codes and statues.
- In conjunction with Security staff, maintain proper occupancy, admittance and age controls in outlets
- Take daily inventory and determining the beverage requirements on an ongoing basis and ensures proper inventories and cost controls
- Ensures nightly and/or weekly opening and closing side duties are followed
- Place orders and receive orders from vendors.
- Build strong relationships with representatives from liquor distributors and other vendors.
- Build strong relationships with staff, including security, bartenders, etc.
- Plan promotional events and execute them fully.
E ssential Functions
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
- Must be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
What’s Required
- 5+ year experience as General Manager for a high volume, upscale nightclub, bar or lounge environment
- Responsible Alcohol Management & "TIPS" training.
- Basic "POS" knowledge required
- Thorough knowledge of all new entertainment, liquor and bar compliance regulations
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
