Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. This pivotal role involves strategizing, developing, and overseeing the daily operations of our financial department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial planning, management, and budgeting processes. Additionally, the CFO will lead the financial data processing and reporting operations, adhering to licensure, certification, accreditation regulations, and internal policies.

What You'll Do
Strategic Financial Leadership: You will spearhead the planning, development, and implementation of comprehensive financial data collection, processing, and reporting systems. As a key strategic partner, your insights will shape the company's plans and programs, focusing on financial functions.
Financial Analysis and Advisory: Play a crucial role in evaluating the impact of long-range planning, new programs, strategies, and regulatory actions. Your expertise will provide valuable financial analyses and reports, aiding the leadership team in achieving operational goals.
Safeguarding Financial Integrity: Ensure the security and integrity of all financial and payroll data. This involves supervising the maintenance of rigorous security measures, reviewing financial statements, payroll registers, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
Budget Management: Collaborate with the leadership team to prepare, revise, and manage the annual budget, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and financial health.
Policy and Procedure Oversight: Review and enhance policies and procedures related to financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Financial Compliance and Consultation: Maintain the financial operations in strict compliance with all regulations and provide consultation for the development and revision of policies, aiming for operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For
Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business discipline is required. A Master's degree and CPA certification are highly preferred.
Experience: At least five years of progressive leadership responsibility in a financial role.
Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically, both in writing and verbally, with the ability to engage with the President and leadership team.
Confidentiality: A strong ethical stance on maintaining the confidentiality of payroll, financial, and personnel information.

The position is offered under a flexible employment type, with a salary that is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
