Job description
Cedar Park Med is hiring Psychologists for on-site and telemedicine.
Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of a psychology program from an accredited college/university. While not required by state law, DBHDS prefers completion of the Institute of Law, Psychiatry, and Public Policy (ILPPP) training.
- Must have and maintain a valid license to practice psychology in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- BLS
- PPD and all other applicable vaccines
Responsibilities :
- Perform initial evaluations, suicide risk assessments (Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale, also known as C-SSRS), and cognitive screening instruments, develop diagnostic formulation, and provide recommendations to the treatment for treatment.
- Perform psychological assessment (i.e., diagnostic differential, cognitive, personality, integrative, decision-making capacity) following referral.
- Conduct individual and/or group therapy (e.g., psycho-education, relapse prevention, solution-focused, behavioral, and insight-oriented).
- Provide crisis intervention with individuals and debriefing with staff.
- Provide educational and experiential in-services and trainings with staff.
Rates:
Psychologist On-site FT/PT $58 / Evening $61 / Weekend $64
Psychologist Tele FT/PT $55 / Evening $58 / Weekend $62
