Our YouTube channel showcases the incredible work of dog and cat rescues in the Philippines and India. We aim to raise awareness, inspire action, and contribute to the betterment of animal rescue efforts through compelling storytelling and visual content.
**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a talented and creative YouTube Producer, Content Sourcer, and Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing rescue footage from active dog and cat rescues in the Philippines and India, compiling, cutting, and optimizing that content for release on our YouTube channel.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Establish relationships with dog and cat rescues in the Philippines and India to source authentic and impactful rescue footage.
* Compile, cut, and edit sourced footage to create engaging and inspiring content for our YouTube audience.
* Produce and release 2 to 5-minute videos per week, focusing on individual rescue stories or related content.
* Create 4 YouTube Shorts per week derived from the main content, optimized for engagement and reach.
* Produce a monthly rescue compilation video, showcasing all new videos released that month, to highlight the month’s rescue efforts and success stories.
* Ensure all content is optimized for YouTube and TikTok, including but not limited to, selecting engaging thumbnails, writing compelling titles and descriptions, and utilizing SEO best practices to increase visibility and engagement.
* Monitor performance metrics and use insights to inform future content creation and optimization strategies.
**Qualifications:**
* Proven experience as a YouTube Producer, Video Editor, or similar role with a portfolio demonstrating your ability to produce engaging video content.
* Strong video editing skills, with proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with rescue organizations and our remote team.
* Passionate about animal welfare and familiar with the challenges and operations of animal rescues.
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Creative thinker with the ability to tell compelling stories through video content.
* Knowledge of the YouTube platform, including analytics, SEO, and best practices for content optimization.
