LaSalle Network is partnering with a distinguished Managed Service Provider (MSP) known for its commitment to delivering cutting-edge IT solutions. They are currently seeking an accomplished Project Manager with specialized experience in system programming, particularly in the mainframe environment, including z/OS, DB2, and CICS.
Project Manager Responsibilities:· Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for system programming initiatives.
· Ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines, scope, and budget.
· Demonstrate proficiency in system programming, with a focus on mainframe technologies such as z/OS, DB2, and CICS.
· Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams involved in system programming tasks.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project goals with organizational objectives.
· Identify potential risks associated with system programming projects and implement effective mitigation strategies.
· Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
· Communicate project status, milestones, and issues to key stakeholders.
· Foster open communication channels with clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
· Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the integrity and reliability of system programming solutions.
· Conduct rigorous testing and validation procedures
Project Manager Requirements:· Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on system programming.
· Extensive knowledge of mainframe technologies, including z/OS, DB2, and CICS.
· Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple system programming projects concurrently.
· Proactive problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
· Relevant certifications in project management and system programming are advantageous.
