UCP is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. This is a professional level job with lots of independence but, requires close collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Lead and the Human Resources Director. Assisting with recruiting at UCP is fast-paced and requires a high level of accuracy to create a smooth on-boarding process for new employees. UCP is seeking an individual who excels at streamlining on-boarding and HR processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and enjoy working with a diverse group of applicants and employees one-on-one and in groups. They will be adept at communicating with department managers and making good judgement calls on the fly. This individual will be skilled at maintaining applicant/employee confidentiality.
You will partner closely with our Talent Acquisition Lead, assisting with the recruiting process and on-boarding of new hires, including:
- Posting job ads to UCP’s applicant tracking system and additional job boards.
- Responding to applicant inquiries, setting up interviews, and providing status updates by phone and email.
- Conducting initial phone screens for some of UCP’s job openings.
- Assisting in crafting compelling job ads, promotional materials, and surveys.
- Discussing with applicants that are not chosen for a particular position about other job opportunities at UCP.
- Completing email and phone reference checks for applicants.
- Coordinating our new hire process, which includes criminal history checks, pre-hire medical screenings, new hire paperwork, and new hire meetings.
- Completing all new hire documentation in ADP, our applicant tracking system, and our Excel databases.
- Processing documentation for transfers and terms for current employees.
- Updating the performance evaluation database and generating reports.
- Collecting recruitment data in order to create quarterly and annual reports on UCP’s recruitment trends.
- Attending job fairs to promote UCP's job opportunities.
- Completing all documentation in a timely fashion.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Lead and Human Resources Director.
Hours & Location:
- This is a 40-hour per week job. The typical schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5pm .
- This position requires that you work in our office located near NE 102nd Avenue & Burnside during your training period. After passing the 180-day introductory evaluation, a hybrid work schedule will be considered.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience performing administrative, recruiting and/or human resources assistant, or executive assistant duties.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service (in-person and via phone and email) with diverse populations.
- Proficient in the use of Outlook and the Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
- Ability to use a wide variety of software and programs to analyze data and create reports and forms.
- Able to pass an extensive criminal history check in order to qualify as a Qualified Entity Designee and conduct criminal history checks.
- Human resources/recruiting experience preferred.
