Mandatory Skills:
- A Bachelor's level University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare or a similar discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst responsible for requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design activities, and developing business analysis documentation.
- 5 years of demonstrated Healthcare experience with a focus on health information systems, standards, technology, and/or software.
Scored Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst responsible for requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design activities, and developing business analysis documentation.
- Facilitation skills: demonstrated experience in leading workshops to identify and articulate business requirements, system requirements, and develop user stories or use cases.
- Demonstrated experience leading and producing business analysis documentation (E.g., business requirements, patient journeys, functional specifications, process diagrams, requirements traceability, SOPs, test plans and test cases).
- Demonstrated experience requiring strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to target communications to a specific audience (e.g., technical, non-technical).
- Demonstrated experience working with a high level of self-direction, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to confidently engage and collaborate with project team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work with multiple teams supporting more than one project stream/activity at a time.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams) in the work environment.
- Familiarity with one or more of the following areas of healthcare: Laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, Surgical program, Emergency Department, Cardiac Diagnostics, Nursing, Therapeutics or Health Information Management.
- Verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills in both French and English is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience working within New Brunswick's technology or healthcare environments showcasing a strong understanding of the local landscape, policies, and practices.
