Perdue AgriBusiness (PAB) is one of the two operating divisions of Perdue Farms. We are actively seeking a hardworking, energetic, self-starter to join our Animal Nutrition team in Salisbury, MD as a Commercial Intern . Perdue's 10-week Summer Internship program is designed to combine knowledge learned in the classroom with meaningful, real-world experiences.

The Commercial Intern will work closely with the sales and marketing teams, as well as collaborate with product managers and financial analysts. The focus of this role is to support the commercial aspects of our Animal Nutrition products, specifically dairy and poultry. 

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Market Anlaysis 
• Pricing Strategy Evaluation
• Sales Support 
• Fostering positive customer relations

Minimum Education

• Must be a rising Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelors degree at an accredited university in a relevant field of study  
• 3.0 GPA or higher

Experience Requirements

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have strong communication skills including written and verbal
• Must be able to work independently or in teams  
• May require travel to other facilities

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

• Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.  May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
• May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
