Are you a strategic thinker who is passionate about delivering exceptional support of Daily Net Asset Values to multiple functions, then this is the role for you. 

As a Fund accounting analyst, associate or VP, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality NAV delivery.  You as the successful candidate,  will partner with other lines of business and offshore partners providing oversight and support of daily production with an overall focus on accurate and timely delivery of daily NAVs.   You would be the perfect fit for us if you have great attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and execute time sensitive tasks, and have a passion to deliver solutions across organizational boundaries.  Fund Accounting Operations offers the opportunity to work within a hybrid environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Producing accurate and timely Net Asset Values
• Performing quality assurance checks on information received internally from other supporting functions
• Creating, maintaining and updating procedures for the funds
• Ensuring compliance with all controls and procedures outlined in the procedures manual and general company policies
• Ensuring all schedule work is completed by agreed deadlines, checklists are signed and files contain all required supporting documents
• Identifying efficiencies and areas for improvement to reduce risk and become more efficient
• Developing a thorough knowledge of your client base, prospectus, documentation, etc.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 2+ years of experience in Fund Administration Operations
• Thorough understanding of the theoretical and technical nature of mutual fund accounting and administration
• Strong technical skills including accounting fundamentals and theories
• Ability to be effective in a global operating environment and a matrix management organizations
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and with external clients
• Analytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; executive presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver results
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast paced environment
• Relationship building skills - develop internal and external partnerships to move results forward
• Expert use of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and ability to present to senior management.
