Mandatory Skills
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including its features, limitations, and best practices
- Strong skills in Apex and visual force
- Experience in using the Lightning component framework for developing dynamic web apps for mobile and desktop devices
- Ability to write queries using SOQL and SOSL to efficiently manipulate and search the data
- Knowledge of how to model data within salesforce, understanding of objects, fields, relationships, and how to manage data effectively
- Skills in automating complex business processes using Salesforce's tools like process builder, workflows, Approval Processes, and Flow
- Basic admin skills like creating users, roles, profiles, permission sets, reports, dashboards, and other administrative tasks
- Experience with Salesforce APIs for integrating with other systems
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in writing complex Apex classes and triggers, and creating sophisticated visualforce pages
- Knowledge of lightning web components for building modern and efficient user interfaces
- Understanding JavaScript and web technologies for frontend development within Salesforce
- Holding salesforce certifications as a developer is a plus
- Familiarity with agile development practices and experience working in Agile teams
- Experience with data migration and using ETL tools

Roles and Responsibilities
- Customize and configure salesforce system according to business requirements, this includes setting up workflows, custom objects, fields, page layouts, and validations
- Develop and maintain custom solutions using Apex and Visualforce pages. This often involves creating complex business logic and user interfaces beyond what is available through standard configuration
- Build and maintain lightning components for creating modern, responsive user interfaces and improving the user experience
- Write unit tests and conduct testing to ensure code quality and coverage. Also responsible for troubleshooting and fixing bugs
- Uphold and implement Salesforce security standards including configuring user roles and profiles, sharing rules, and field-level security to ensure data security and compliance
