Job description
Behavior Specialist Needed ASAP
As a Behavior Specialist you play an essential role in helping amazing children and young adults live their best lives! You will be responsible for assisting the Behavioral Team Leader and BCBA to conduct Functional Assessments and develop Behavior Plans using approved Applied Behavior Analysis techniques and strategies and provide oversight of the implementation of the plans.
Requirements
- Master s degree in social sciences behavioral sciences mental health counseling social work or educationrelated field
- In some cases bachelors degrees are accepted
- Knowledge of and experience working with principles of learning and behavior
- Basic knowledge of appropriate and abnormal development
- The ability to work independently and employ critical thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Florida Educator s Certificate in an exceptional student education area school psychologist or guidance and counseling
