Job description

Responsibilities:

Join our collaborative scrum team and actively contribute throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include:

Engage in requirements gathering, solution design, development, QA, and implementation.
Develop, modernize, and enhance existing applications or create new enterprise microservice applications.
Write automated unit test cases supporting Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) or test-driven development (TDD).
Assist the Quality Assurance team in software verification and validation.
Perform application and security code scans, actively participating in remediation efforts.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Contribute to daily stand-up meetings and sprint retrospectives.
Undertake other similar professional duties as required.

Skills/Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

Proven Java Developer experience with a strong portfolio showcasing projects involving Spring Boot, Angular, and Postgres.
Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Proficiency in Java programming language and a deep understanding of the Spring framework.
Demonstrated experience in building web applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong knowledge of database concepts, with experience working with Postgres or similar relational databases.
Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and hands-on experience in API development.
Proficient in version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of frontend build tools and package managers like npm, webpack, etc.
Understanding of software testing methodologies, with experience in unit testing and integration testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
