Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their knowledge of large-scale commercial roofing projects with a reliable long-standing company. This position is full time and is eligible for health insurance benefits at the beginning of the month following 60 days of employment. Additional benefits include sign-on bonus, fuel card, company provided profit-share retirement plan and project performance bonuses.

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Supervise a crew of roofers on multiple commercial jobsites at one time.
- Schedule projects daily based on jobsite progress to ensure projects are staffed to meet production, quality and safety goals.
- Collaborate with Estimator and Project Management team to coordinate jobsite logistics including pre-job planning, safety requirements, and ensure required materials and tools are available.
- Collaborate with Branch Manager on hiring, termination, and disciplinary decisions for crew.
- Regularly visit job sites to review work in progress in terms of productivity and safety standards.
- Meet with customer at jobsite to ensure quality and satisfaction.
- Ensures materials are available for current projects and plan for future projects.
- Up to 50% travel to local jobsites.
- Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five years of experience installing within the Commercial Roofing trade, and one year of supervisory or project management experience.
- Requires good verbal and written communications skills and a professional manner in dealing with customers and employees.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is highly desired.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Valid CA drivers license with good driving record.
- Pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
