Elevate your career in finance with an exciting opportunity as a Financial Reporting Manager for our manufacturing client in the Holland MI area. In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with both U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in managing complex financial tasks and leading a dynamic team, all within a globally operating corporate environment.
Responsibilities:
- Guarantee timeliness and accuracy in the consolidated financial reporting.
- Lead the consolidation of global financial statements monthly and oversee the year-end global financial statements
- Assist with the year-end global financial statement audit.
- Manage the monthly close process for all corporate entities, ensuring thorough account reconciliations and detailed analysis.
- Oversee the Corporate Accounting team and general accounting functions for corporate entities.
- Act as a key liaison between the Corporate Accounting team and plant locations, providing technical accounting guidance when necessary.
- Monitor adherence to policies and procedures, maintaining a robust system of internal controls and ensuring data integrity.
- Manage special projects and respond to ad-hoc requests
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6+years of accounting/finance experience
- 2+ years of experience with financial reporting for a company with multiple locations/business units
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
