JOB OVERVIEW
The BEAM Camp Coordinator will manage the administrative and instructional needs during the BEAM Summer Math Discover Program. They will manage communication with parents and teachers. Other tasks may include but are not limited to: provisioning equipment and materials for each day, managing phone calls/communication with families, organizing required documentation and records, and supporting classes and activities during the program.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The following information is to describe the overall nature and scope of the work being performed in relation to the position. This is not a comprehensive listing of all responsibilities or tasks; other work may be assigned when deemed appropriate:
- Manage program activities
- Monitor and support the behavior of students throughout the program
- Collaborate with BEAM teachers, teacher assistants, and counselors
- Ensure safe arrival and dismissal of students throughout the program
- Ensure the accuracy of student rosters and attendance
- Communicate with families as needed
- Ensure that materials, supplies, and equipment are available
QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Holds or is eligible for a Virginia teaching license required
- Ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative relationships with students, peers, administrators, and parents
- Demonstrated skill in oral and written communications; excellent human relations skills

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP: This part-time hourly position reports to the Supervisor of Mathematics in the office of Teaching and Learning.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS This is a part-time, non-benefited, hourly position.
Hours: 7:45am - 3:45pm
Dates: Program Staff Development days will be after school in May/June and select time on June 17 & 18
June 20- July 19 Summer Math Discovery Program
- The program will not run from July 4-5, 2024
Locations: Academies of Loudoun
Reports to: Program Supervisor
Salary Level : Banded Rates: Band 17
Salary Scale :
Salary Range : $47.74/hour
