Job Summary:
Disney Entertainment Studio Marketing is looking for a Manager, Product Marketing, to lead Disney+ and the Disney Bundle Product Marketing. This person will play a vital role in crafting Disney+ and Disney Bundle product marketing strategies, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to bring said strategies to life across on and off-product touchpoints, while leading a team. This person will partner closely with Product, Partnerships, Creative Design, Data Analytics, Research, Viewer Experience, CRM, PR, Social, Legal, Lifecycle, Finance, and Regional Marketing teams.
The ideal candidate has experience driving full-funnel marketing strategies for a large brand and has worked extensively with product and engineering teams to bring marketing experience to life across the user journey. They are highly analytical, creative, and have an in-depth understanding of messaging and product positioning to scale a digital product, all while simultaneously being able to understand and optimize product user experiences and nuances.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for Disney+ and the Disney Bundle.
- Lead Product Marketing initiatives across several verticals which may include Profiles, Identity, Unification, Loyalty, Content, Features, Partners, and others.
- Lead Loyalty efforts for Disney+ and the Disney Bundle.
- Develop and optimize marketing strategies that impact product roadmaps so as to drive user acquisition, conversion and engagement across all relevant products.
- Lead your team of Product Marketers by empowering and developing each person’s career, unblocking organizational challenges, and identifying new opportunities.
- Effectively lead and manage relationships with various cross-functional partners including Product, Partnerships, Creative Design, Data Analytics, Research, Viewer Experience, CRM, PR, Social, Legal, Lifecycle, Finance, and Regional Marketing teams.
- Deeply understand our subscriber base, and synthesize key insights, analytics, and competitive intelligence across various Voice of Subscriber channels, to inform product development, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Drive optimizations based on analytical insights and data to show positive return on marketing efforts, continuously improving user lifetime value and reducing churn.
- Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high impact marketing initiatives.
- Lead product development conversations with product and design to ensure our product solutions and evolutions meet and exceed our subscribers’ needs.
- Partner with the analytics teams to define goals and track success of key launches and monitor results to prioritize product prioritization and future plans.
- Drive cross-functional working improvements and share learnings across the entire product marketing team to improve working models and output.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product, strategy, consulting or marketing with deep customer insight and go-to-market experience.
- 1+ years of management experience in developing best-in-class teams. You put your team first and empower them to grow their careers and drive business impact!
- You have a combination of analytical and creative abilities: you’re able to dive into subscriber data to infer a customer insight, understand what types of qualitative and quantitative research are needed on a project and you’re able to write positioning documents and provide creative feedback.
- You connect teams! You’re able to work cross-functionally to get things done and you see new ways for teams to partner together to improve the experience for our subscribers.
- Experience tackling complex problems and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and suggesting a way to tackle complex problems.
- Experience working with Global teams on products and understand the different incentives teams have entering into a project and you work to drive alignment.
- Ability to manage interdependent, complex projects and keep various work streams and team members on track with little oversight or guidance.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
The hiring range for this position in CA is $123,000 to $165,000 per year and in NY is $128,904 to $172,920 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
