Intern Responsibilities:
Gain experience in client communication and design by:
- Working closely with clients to understand their needs and translate their ideas into visually appealing designs
- Creating suitable website logos and color scheme designs based on client feedback
- Collaborating with marketing and research teams to incorporate brand elements and market research findings into website and app designs
Develop skills in web and app design by:
- Turning client designs into functional websites and apps using platforms such as Wix, Clickfunnels, Shopify, and app designing software
- Optimizing websites and apps for desktop and mobile views
- Fixing any functionality issues on websites and apps
- Updating and maintaining websites and apps
Improve design skills and contribute to design projects by:
- Designing engaging and responsive landing pages for websites and apps
- Creating graphic designs that enhance website and app aesthetics and functionality
- Writing copy for websites and apps that aligns with the company's brand voice and tone
Eligibility Requirement:
Applicants for this internship program must meet one of the following criteria:
- Must be currently enrolled in an educational institution and receiving school credit for the internship.
- Must be able to demonstrate that the internship is integrated with their coursework, enhancing their educational experience.
- Must fulfill specific educational requirements set by their institution, department, or major program of study.
Suggested Qualifications:
- Degree/profile in Web Design and Development, Digital Media Design, Human-Computer Interaction etc.
- Fluent English (Bilingual is a plus)
- Business-oriented and open-minded
- Good communication skills
- Able to gain people's confidence and put them at ease
- Able to cope with pressure
- Flexible and adaptable
Duration, Schedule & Pay:
This will be a 4-6 month unpaid internship with the potential to stay on with us after completion of the internship.
We are looking for either 1 full-time intern or 2 part-time interns (one morning, one afternoon)
- Full-time Schedules:
- Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM EST with an hour break for lunch
- or Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM EST with an hour break for lunch
- Part-time Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 1 PM or 2 PM - 6 PM EST
