Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to steer our finances as we gear up for significant growth and further success in the market. This role is pivotal, encompassing financial management, strategic planning, and operational execution to ensure our financial health and strategic growth. Working closely with the CEO, COO, and key stakeholders, the CFO will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and operations, driving value creation, and leading our financial team with integrity and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership: Oversee accounting, tax, and treasury operations, ensuring compliance and effective risk management. Lead financial planning and analysis to support decision-making and strategic goals.
Operational Excellence: Manage financial aspects of our operations, including cost accounting and financial planning in manufacturing and supply chain. Drive initiatives for productivity improvement and capital expense management.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, creditors, and other key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with financial commitments and strategic objectives.
Executive Influence: As a key member of the executive team, embody leadership qualities that promote a culture of integrity, teamwork, and alignment with our values.
Strategic Growth: Lead financial assessments for inorganic growth opportunities, including acquisitions, partnerships, and expansions, ensuring seamless integration and strategic alignment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience as CFO, ideally in a private equity-backed company within the consumer goods sector.
Strong background in omni-channel sales environments and experience in brand-driven consumer durables.
Comprehensive management accounting experience and leadership of a finance function.
Familiarity with manufacturing environments, cost management, and distribution logistics.
Effective communicator with a track record of engaging with boards, PE sponsors, and external partners.
Proficient in financial management systems, ERPs, and business analytics tools.
